How much does the Out Of The Box Sampler cost?The REGULAR sampler boxes sale for just $30.00 each.
The BODACIOUSLY BIGGER sampler boxes vary each month, depending on how many companies have joined us.
They range from $50.00 - $75.00.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is included with all the sampler boxes, within the United States.
All boxes are shipped by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation numbers.
Emails will be sent with tracking numbers.
Do you ship to Canada & Internationally?
Yes! Regular sized samplers ship to Canada for an additional $18.00 and internationally for $27.00.
Bodaciously Bigger boxes ship to Canada for an additional $32.50 and internationally for $49.95.
How many samples are in each box?
You are guaranteed to receive between 15-17 different businesses samples in each regular sized Out Of The Box Sampler. There are certain months where that number may be higher then that, but never lower. There may also be promotional brochures and business cards from businesses who can not send in samples. These are in no way counted as a sample.
Bodaciously Bigger boxes can contain between 30-75 different businesses samples, depending on how many companies join us that month.
Do all the boxes have the same samples or businesses in them?
You may find some of the same businesses in the boxes from month to month depending on if that business signed up to participate more then one month. But each box is different and will contain a variety of different businesses. That also depends on how many samples are sent in from them that month. Some send 25 and some send 125. We disperse the samples as evenly as possible in all the boxes each month, as far as sizes and sample types.
Can I buy more then one box but ship to different addresses?
Yes, you can. You have to put the separate address or addresses into the notes section when placing your order.
What will I find in the boxes?
Each month is different. You may find wax tarts, candles, votives, lip balm, gourmet foods, chocolates, cookies, sugar scrubs, jewelry, soaps, lotions, body wash, cards, scrapbooking goodies and just about anything else that's made by hand from the e-tailers who participate.
Can I return the sampler box?
We do not take returns on the sampler boxes. We have a huge following of very happy customers, and are sure you won't be disappointed with our sampler box. We sell out of our boxes each month within just a couple days. They are in huge demand. If you compare our box to other boxes out there, you'll find we strive to be the very best. Can I pick which businesses I want in my box?
No. We pack all the boxes the day before they go on sale so they are ready for shipping when you purchase them.
Will I know which businesses are in that month's box?
Yes, we list whose participating on our "Who's In The Box Page." You can also find pictures of each months items, on our Face Book fan page.

How do I sign up to participate?
You can join us by using the signup form on the "Send in Samples" page on our website.
Do I have to participate every month?
No, you can sign up for just one month or as many months as you like. Remember that repetition is the key to getting your name and business recognized. We also have a permanent page on our website for businesses who participate for 3 or more months during the year. Your website will get listed on that page for the calendar year you partake in 3 months or more.
How many samples do I have to send in?
We have a 30 sample minimum to participate. But, you can send in as many samples as you'd like. We normally do 75-80 boxes each month. The more samples you send in, the more boxes you'll be in, and the more potential customers you'll reach.
What do you need from me?
We will also need a 150x150 ad button from you to participate. If you do not have one, I can make one for you. Email me to let me know. There is an $8.00 fee per ad button.
Is there a fee to participate?No, there is no fee to participate in the Out Of The Box Sampler. However, if you would like to be a box sponsor for the month you are participating, there is a $35.00 fee for that spot. The box sponsor spots are limited, so sign up early.
What is the Box Sponsor spot?
The Box Sponsor spot is reserved for just one business each month. There is a $35.00 fee for that spot and you are required to send in 60 samples and 2 full size products to be used as giveaways on our blog. You get top billing on our front page with your business logo or banner. Your business listed on the box sponsor page on our website. Your business mentioned in our priority newsletter as the sponsor, and a post card with your business info that goes into each sampler for that month.
Do I get paid to participate when the boxes sell?
No, you are not paid for sending in your samples. In return for participating, you are receiving a ton of free advertising and potential customers you would not have normally reached. The money generated from the sale of the boxes goes toward supplies, shipping, contests and giveaways, media sampler boxes, website fees, hosting, advertising costs etc.
What size samples and what packaging should I do?
We suggest a minimum size of 2oz when sending in samples. There are always exceptions to this size depending on what product you are sending in. You should keep in mind that you are making a first impression with the box buyers and your samples. Packaging is extremely important. If you want to get the best from your sample box experience, you should send in the best your business has to offer.

When do my samples need to be shipped to you?
Your samples have to BE HERE by the 25th of the previous month your are signed up for, for non-perishable items. In other words, if you sign up to participate in the May boxes, your samples need to be here by April 25th. HOWEVER, if you are a food business that's sending in samples. Your samples would need to be here, at the latest, the Saturday before the boxes go on sale that month. ALWAYS SHIP YOUR SAMPLES WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION SO WE CAN TRACK PACKAGES FOR ARRIVAL HERE AT OOTBS.
What if I signed up but cannot follow thru?
When your are signing up, please keep in mind that this is a commitment to follow thru with sending in your samples. I understand that certain circumstances and emergencies can happen and you will need to give me as much advance warning as possible. If you signup and don't follow thru twice, you will not be allowed to participate again in the future.
